Mizoram is a state located in the northeastern region of India. It shares its borders with three states of India – Assam to the north, Manipur to the east, and Tripura to the west – as well as with the neighboring country of Myanmar to the south and east.
Aizawl is the capital city of Mizoram, and the state has a population of around 1.1 million people, according to the 2011 census. The people of Mizoram are primarily of ethnic Mizo origin and speak the Mizo language, which is also the official language of the state.
